My name is Brittney Grant and I am the custom cake artist for Quillians Grill and Catering Company in the little town of Clermont, nestled in the heart of the North Georgia Mountains. My background in the artistry of cake goes back about 15 years ago, when I began to bake for our family restaurant. In 2011, my parents Len and Denise Dale opened the doors to our 5th adventure in the restaurant industry and Quillians Grill and Catering Co. was born. I spent an entire year at this location working in the Customer Service field and spent many hours baking home made cakes, pies, and wide variety of desserts and pastries. The rest of my time was spent building our social media pages, and spending time with my son and husband on my days off. It was at this point in time in my life I dove whole heartedly in the sweet world of sugary desserts! I am a self taught artist and spent many long hours studying on my own to learn how to professionally decorate cakes with a unique style and modern twist. After 2 years of learning as much I could on my own I signed up for extensive cake schools and attended cake classes with some of the industries best cake artist. This is where I grew my talent from a hobby into a successful, creative, and professional career . In 2016 I had my first magazine publication with Cake Central Magazine and in January of 2017 my 2nd magazine debut with a local Bridal magazine in North Georgia. I don’t just enjoy creating one of a kind cakes for all occasions, I LIVE for it. Sugary goodness is woven in my DNA and I look forward to creating an edible work of art for you to look back on for years to come!
