Georgia Health Insurance Marketplace (GHIM) is licensed by the state of Georgia and is certified and authorized by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services and its’ administering federal sub-agencies. Georgia Health Insurance Marketplace (GHIM) is otherwise not part of either the Georgia state government or the U.S. federal government.
The Georgia Health Insurance Marketplace (GHIM) SEED mission statement is to simplify, educate, enroll and document Georgia residents into Qualified Health Plans (QHPs).
•Simplify Georgians’ enrollment throughout the year in the Special Enrollment Period and in the Open Enrollment Period.
•Educate Georgia residents about the benefits of QHP compliance, federal subsidies, and medical cost reductions.
•Enroll Georgians with the secure, seamless proprietary system directly connected to the FFM and private insurers.
•Document the enrollment with confirmation transmission emailed immediately to the enrolled Georgia resident.
