The Blue Heron is Athens newest and only riverside event venue for weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners or most any type private party seating up to 200 guests. Amenities include: dining hall, dance floor, tables, chairs, bathrooms, dressing rooms, kitchenette for caterer, outdoor dock for ceremony or band,2000 sq.ft., sun deck overlooking river, 3 outdoor grills, and river access for water craft. We can park 150+ cars and/or provide transportation for the entire party. We are located off the Atlanta Hwy. near Hobby Lobby and only 3 miles from downtown Athens hotels.
